Gene’s a legend.  He’s real of course, very much so and he’s an incredible writer and an all-round excellent human being.

Through Gene, I was introduced to the British podcast site, StarShipSofa.  Through the StarShip, I got my work spread all around the world.  In 2010, a story of mine, Then, Just a Dream, received their award for Best Short Fiction.  I also tied with Spider Robinson for Best Narration that year.

This is an excerpt from Gene’s chilling little piece, The Vampire Kiss.  I love it.  Except for the title, the “V” word is never used.  That’s my kind of horror tale!
